I just want to thank the Silman/Clark family for that incredible, wonderful replica of the General Store! Freeze-dry it or something so we can all enjoy it forever.

I was just talking with a friend about the ice storm of 2009 and I remembered what a debt I owe you. We were all iced in with no power and you answered the store phone and figured out a detour for me to get to where I was headed based on your trip in. I think of this when I see your light on as I pass some days and it makes me feel so happy and at home. Thank you General Store.

My daughter and I stopped in after hearing high praise of your store from a friend. As we browsed Candi said to me "Are we still in Massachusetts?" Your store is fun, interesting, and full of everything I like. The two guys behind the counter were helpful with just the right amount of friendliness. It will be worth the drive from Princeton, where I live. Also, we loved the dog. Thank you for bringing such a great store to the area.

Just want you to know how nice it is to have fresh flowers available. That corner of the store looked like spring, and you saved me a trip to Idylwild for flowers. And my husband and I love the Gelato and Sorbet. Thank you and Good Luck.
