Two talented local authors will read from their work, answer questions, and be available afterward for book sales and signings:

Michelle Hoover's second novel, Bottomland, is a haunting literary mystery within a German family in post-World War I Iowa. She is the Fannie Hurst Writer-in-Residence at Brandeis University and teaches at GrubStreet, where she leads the Novel Incubator program.

Jennifer S. Brown's debut novel is Modern Girls, a gorgeously rendered tale of women in New York City's Jewish immigrant community in 1935. Her fiction, articles, and essays have been widely published, and she won the 2005 World’s Best Short-Short Story Contest in the Southeast Review.

FREE Admission! Food and wine/beer will be available for purchase in the store.
